ISO 9001.

ISO 9001 is a family of certifications that address varied aspects of quality management and is one of ISOs most valued standards. Southey Contracting’s long-standing reputation for quality service is complemented by this certification, giving our clients the confidence of knowing that our divisions consistently deliver to requirement.

ISO 14001.

ISO 14001 relates to environmental management and is intended for organisations that wish to manage this responsibility through a systematic process that contributes to a sustainable environment.

Southey Contracting is sensitive to the impact of all our client’s operations, ensuring that standards are not only maintained, but exceeded, as we work together towards a safe and secured future.

ISO 45001.

ISO 45001 is an occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series for health and safety management systems. It is intended to help an organisation control its occupational health and safety risks.

ISO 45001 was developed in response to widespread demand for a recognised standard against which to be certified and assessed.

Skills development, true ownership at the
heart of real BBBEE for real change.

BBBEE

“Southey Contracting is proudly 51% black-owned and is wholly committed to transformation process of South Africa.”

Southey Contracting supports the process of BBBEE through consistent implementation of skills development programmes and responsible, transparent ownership transfers that add value to both shareholders and the business.

As a good corporate citizen we fully understand and appreciate the role we can, and should, play in support of black economic empowerment – contributing to a South Africa (and Africa) that provides opportunities for all its citizens.

Social and Economic upliftment.

Governments in Africa need companies that are ready to face the many social and economic problems in the continent. Southey is backing the South African government in this process and believes that it can support governments in reducing poverty and inequality and in improving health and welfare.

In South Africa, Southey Contracting has been a major campaigner for skills development. Since 2005 we have trained the highest number of black artisans through the Merseta learnership programme. The various trades include welders, boilermakers, fitters, turners, electricians, scaffolders and painters.

Continuous training and skills development
consistently make us a cut above.
