Originally started to address the need for professional services in industrial painting and contracting to mines and heavy industry, Southey Contracting has grown into one of the largest industrial services companies on the African continent.
Today we deliver a multitude of solutions to a wide variety of industries and regions – time and again setting new benchmarks for innovation, safety and quality standards. This is achieved with utmost consideration for the well-being of people and the environment.
Our track-record speaks for itself and are we proud to have been part of the core teams that built Sapref Refinery, Sasol, Sappi and numerous other industrial landmarks.

Southey Contracting has become the largest industrial painting, thermal insulation and scaffolding contracting services company, catering for major (heavy) industrial operations.
The company conducts its business from an international footprint, which includes permanent operations in Angola, Cape Town, Gauteng, Ghana, KZN, Namibia, Mauritius and Mozambique.
Africa Rising
Increased foreign investment is driving Africa’s economies to grow infrastructure at a significant rate – often in harsh environments where corrosion protection and thermal insulation of assets are essential – to touch on but a few of Southey Contracting’s industrial services.
